Business Need	Learning Plus was using a custom-built database application written in FoxPro.  As their company grew, the needs they placed on the database increased and they quickly found that their current database was not designed to handle the additional demands.  The system was causing system errors, would not handle multiple users, and the developer was unavailable for support.
Solution	Hall Data Solutions, Inc. worked closely with Learning Plus to not only design a new system that would meet their current needs and grow with the company, but also devise a strategy to transition away from the old system.  New strategies were developed to integrate new data into their system like contacts they made at trade shows for additional lead generation and tracking. Learning Plus has tripled in size since the project began.  No changes in the system architecture were required to accommodate the additional data, system load, and concurrent users.  However, a number of new features and enhancements were added as new demands arose that could not have been anticipated before.  Learning Plus knows that we are available any time to deliver a quick custom report, implement a new feature, or arrange a meeting to discuss their ever-evolving database needs.
